Face Painting

Q. What do you use to paint faces with?
A. I use KRYLON make-up palette. It has small pots of different colors. Although it does smear when wet, it goes on fast and dries fast.

What do you paint on the faces?
A. I paint hearts, rainbows, flowers, kitties, puppies, teddy bears, ladybugs, a skull and crossbones, spider and web, an eyeball in the middle of the forehead, a mustache, a goatee. Anything simple with just a couple of colors is best for quickly getting faces done.

***note*** I don't paint the entire face of the child even if they want to be a clown. I only paint parts of the faces. For example, white above the eyebrows, eyelashes, a pink nose, and small sides at the mouth for a clown face. Anything more than this is just too much for a small kid to handle. Less is better.

Q. How many children do you paint at a party?
A. I ask the parent at the time they book the party how many children will be attending, (including the birthday child), I limit the number I can do in 1 hour to 10 kids. If there are over 10 kids at the party then I substitute games and other activities.
